Lacks composite wheels, were originally my least favorite product. To my eye they looked like fun house mirrors which became disco balls when spinning. They were entirely too dependent on the environment for their appearance due to their mirror finish. I kept my true emotions set for a slow drip as not to destroy what little equity I had as a 'styling guy' in an engineering company, and set about methodically augmenting our appearance target set, by default, to our PAST successes.

Like it or not, decor is FASHION, and fashion dies when it stops changing, even just for change's sake. So I entitled myself to see the tech through a designer's eyes. After all, who better to anticipate the sensibilities of our first stop at the OE's--the design office. This provided the overarching vision that would guide my work with what was arguably the most complicated technology to describe, sell, or manufacture with the Lacks portfolio.
